BETHANY, Okla. – Southwestern Christian University is set to unveil its new team store to help kick off of the 2014-15 school year.

SCU Athletics has teamed with LIDS Team Sports to give fans a chance to buy custom Eagles gear. Customers can choose between a variety of apparel including tee shirts and sweatshirts from brands such as Anvil, Gildan and Nike.

BETHANY, Okla. – Brothers Gerad and Jordan Poole have signed letters of intent to play baseball at Southwestern Christian University in 2015.

Gerad Poole, of Oilton, Okla., started at first base as a senior at Oilton High School.  After his senior season with the Panthers, Poole competed in the Heartland All-Star Classic in June.

BETHANY, Okla. – Andrew Walker signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Southwestern Christian University.

Walker, of Dayton, Texas, comes to SCU after spending the past two seasons at Northeastern State. Walker hit .290 with 14 RBIs in 51 appearances for the Riverhawks as a sophomore. During his freshman season, the middle infielder hit .333 and scored 21 runs in 30 games.

BETHANY, Okla. – Southwestern Christian University has announced the hiring of Matt Stephens as its new sports information director.

Stephens will be responsible for publicity of the school's 18 intercollegiate athletic programs.

PHOENIX – Former Southwestern Christian University basketball star Tyler Inman was selected by the world famous Harlem Globetrotters in their eighth annual player draft in June.

Inman a native of Savannah, Okla., won the first-ever NAIA dunk contest, this past March in Kansas City, by reeling off perfect scores of 50 on each of his four jaw-dropping dunks in the competition. The 6-5 forward was the third-leading scorer for the Eagles his senior season and was second on the team in field goals made, three-pointers made and blocks.
