OKLAHOMA CITY – Southwestern Christian University was picked to finish eighth in the Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball preseason coaches' poll Monday.

SCU received 32 points in the poll and was slated to finish eighth out of 10 teams in first-year head coach Darrick Matthews' inaugural season at the helm of the Lady Eagles.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Southwestern Christian University was picked to finish 10th in the Sooner Athletic Conference men's basketball preseason coaches' poll Monday.

The Eagles received 22 points in the poll and sat eight points behind USAO.

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Southwestern Christian University fell 3-0 to John Brown (Ark.) Saturday at Bill George Arena. The Lady Eagles dropped the first set 25-10 before falling 25-12 and 25-14 in the second and third sets. The loss moved SCU to 8-16 overall and 1-10 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.

BETHANY, Okla. – Southwestern Christian University suffered a 3-1 setback against St. Gregory's Friday at Pickens-Springer Gymnasium.

The Lady Eagles picked up a 27-25 victory in the first set but lost the next three sets 25-21, 25-15 and 25-13 and fell to the Cavaliers 3-1. The loss drops SCU to 8-15 overall and 1-9 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Southwestern Christian University prevailed 3-2 over Mid-America Christian in overtime Friday at Evangel Field.

With the score knotted at 2-2 in the first overtime period, Kachi Silwamba connected with Adam Kay who netted the game-winning goal. The Eagles improved to 10-2-1 overall and 4-2 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.
