BETHANY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian University women's track and field signed Taylor Black to compete of the Lady Eagles in 2017.

Black, a long jumper, comes to SCU by way of Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Okla. Black also runs the 200 meters.

BETHANY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian University signed Chloe Conallis, Kayla Montebello, Jordyn Owens and Cheyenne Sewell to play volleyball in 2016. 

The quartet joined signees Rachel Fink, Tyshael Friday, Lucy Smith and Casie Weatherford as member of SCU's 2016 recruiting class.

BETHANY, Okla. — Left-handed pitcher Joe Peregrin signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Southwestern Christian University in 2017.

The former Deer Creek High School standout spent the last two seasons at Oklahoma Christian.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Southwestern Christian University baseball, women's basketball and women's golf were named 2015-16 Sooner Athletic Conference Academic Team Award winners Wednesday.

The award is presented to the team with the highest cumulative grade point average in their respective sport. Oklahoma City had four teams selected to the award while USAO men's cross country had the highest GPA at 3.79.

BETHANY, Okla. — Hayden Barham, Tristan Farrell, Jonathan Janz, Jacob Miller, Coven Smith and James Stillings all signed their letters of intent to play Baseball at Southwestern Christian University.

"We are excited to add these young men to our program," SCU coach Joe Blackwell said. "They have the potential to help us and will all be great representatives for SCU."
