BETHANY, Okla. – Southwestern Christian University topped Central Baptist (Ark.) 4-2 at Cagle Family Field Friday to win the NCCAA Central Region Tournament.

The Eagles, ranked No. 10 in NCCAA Division I men's soccer, outscored their opponents 8-2 in the tournament and earned an automatic bid to the NCCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship on Dec. 1-6 at Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex in Kissimmee, Fla.

WICHITA, Kan. – Southwestern Christian University stumbled 68-53 against Friends (Kan.) Thursday at Garvey Gymnasium.

The Lady Eagles and Falcons, ranked No. 13 in NAIA Division II women's basketball,  played to an even 32-32 second half, but hot shooting from Friends in the first half proved to be too much for SCU to overcome. SCU moved to 3-4 on the season with the loss.

BETHANY, Okla. – Top-seeded Southwestern Christian University bounced Central Christian (Kan.) 4-0 at Cagle Family Field Thursday and advanced to the NCCAA Central Region Tournament Championship.

The Eagles, ranked No. 10 in NCCAA Division I men's soccer, posted their sixth shutout of the season and scored three of their four goals off of corner kicks to improve to 12-5-2 overall on the season. SCU will face Central Baptist (Ark.) in the tournament final at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cagle Family Field.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Southwestern Christian University played Colorado Christian to a 2-2 draw but fell 4-2 in penalty kicks in the NCCAA Central Region Tournament semifinals Thursday at Evangel Field.

The Lady Eagles erased an early 2-0 deficit and tied the match at 2-2 in the 87th minute to force overtime, but Colorado Christian converted on all four penalty attempts and advanced to face Mid-America Christian in the tournament final.
