Southwestern Christian University men's soccer midfielder Adam Kay was recently named as a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Second-Team All-American selection.

Kay was one of five midfielders picked to receive the nationally recognized award from players from NCCAA member institutions across the United States. Four defenders, four forwards, and one goal-keeper were also selected as members of the team.

As a sophomore, the Bristol, England native led the Eagles to a 5-10-4 record. He led the team in scoring with five goals and three assists in his seventeen games played.

When asked for a comment about the sensational midfielder's success, head coach Neil Cagle jokingly quipped, "Yeah, he can play a little bit."

Kay was also selected as a member of the NCCAA Men's Soccer Central All-Region Team as well as the NAIA's Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference First-Teamthat was announced earlier in the year.
