The Southwestern Christian men's basketball team collected two big road wins this past weekend, winning both games by a total of four points. This was the first back to back road wins for the Eagles this season and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Eagles defeated College of the Ozarks on Friday night 70-67, and followed it up with a 59-58 win at Haskell Indian Nations University.
The SCU men's basketball team opened conference play this past weekend playing the Waldorf College in the Pickens Springer gymnasium. This weekend's games were unique in that the Eagles and the Warriors would match up two nights in a row. The Eagles who have been hit hard with recent injuries were without Tyler Averill, Chris Potter & Mladen Jarpen. The Eagles continued to struggle this semester and came up empty both nights losing 49-61 on Friday and then a 78-81 overtime thriller on Saturday.
