Southwestern Christian University is pleased to welcome new women's track and cross country coach Ron Mitchell to the SCU family.
Mitchell is familiar with the Oklahoma-area track and cross country scene, having been born and raised in Tulsa, Okla., where he attended Union High School. He then attended Central State University (now University of Central Oklahoma).
The SCU men's and women's track team traveled to Joplin, Missouri on December 8th, to open up the indoor track season. The meet was held at Missouri Southern State University. This would be a tough opener as many of the teams competing were NCAA DII schools.
JOILET, Ill. - The Southwestern Christian University men's track and field team competed in the NCCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by Judson University at Memorial Stadium in Illinois last week on Thursday, May 3rd through Saturday, May 5th.
ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. - Southwestern Christian University men's track and field team member Brandon Savage represented SCU in the Tiger Decathlon, hosted by Cowley County Community College of Kansas last Thursday, April 12th .
