The Southwestern Christian University softball team has drawn the No. 8 seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Championship tournament. The Lady Eagles will start the tournament off facing the No. 1 seed Saint Gregory's at 1:30 pm at Ann Lacy Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma City University.
The Lady Eagles softball team will travel to Chickasha today for their last regular season game against USAO. SCU defeated the MACU Lady Evangels on Tuesday, winning 6-5 and 5-2. SCU played USAO at home this past Monday, where the Lady Drovers claimed both games over the Lady Eagles. Catch the Lady Eagles in action on the road today in Chickasha. Bethany, Okla. – The Southwestern Christian University softball team offense showed up against Mid America Christian University to get a doubleheader sweep. The Lady Eagles homered four times in yesterday's match-up and defeated the Lady Evangels 6-5 and 5-2.
Bethany, Okla. – The Lady Eagles softball squad registered a pair of losses to the USAO Lady Drovers on Monday evening. The Lady Drovers defeated the Lady Eagles 10-5 and 16-6.
USAO out hit SCU 28-17 and only committed two errors compared to the Lady Eagles nine.
The SCU Lady Eagles softball team will play the USAO Lady Drovers tonight at the SCU softball field. The Lady Eagles had this past Easter weekend off but traveled to Waxahachie, TX on Thursday where they split with the Lady Lions. SAGU took game by coming back in the 7th to clinch the 7-6 victory. SCU bounced back in game two and claimed a 9-4 win over the Lady Lions. USAO traveled to Texas this past weekend where they played Texas Wesleyan and Northwood. Friday the Lady Drovers knocked Texas Wesleyan down in the SAC rankings and claimed two victories over the Lady Rams. Northwood gave the Lady Drovers a run for their money on Saturday though, winning game one 6-5 but USAO would come back to win game two 8-3.
