Panama City, FL. - Southwestern Christian University men's golf team shot a two round total score of 616 to finish 14th at the 2013 NCCAA Men's Golf National Tournament in Panama City, Florida.
SCU athletics will be having its annual fall four-man scramble golf tournament Monday, October 28th, at 1 p.m. at John Conrad Golf Course. The cost is $300 per-team, there will also be great prizes and lunch will be provided.

The Southwestern Christian University men's golf team and women golfer Danielle Rhodes has qualified for the NCCAA National Championship that will be held at the Hombre Golf Club in Panama City, Florida on October 21st- 24th. Others qualifying for the tournament are as follows:
Shawnee, Okla. – The Southwestern Christian University men's golf team finished sixth out of twelve teams at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational at Shawnee Country Club. The Eagles had a tough first day, as a team SCU shot 312 and were sitting in seventh place. The second day the Eagles had a better day shooting 305 as a team and finished in sixth.
The SCU men's golf team opened play by hosting twelve teams in the SCU golf classic, held at Lake Hefner golf course on September 3-4. On day one, the Eagles played lights out as a team and shot a team score of 272, (-8) and were tied with Oklahoma Baptist University for first place. The Eagles were led on day one by junior Marshall Golowenski, who carded a 63 and shared the first round lead with Mateo Gomez, of Oklahoma Baptist University. Freshman, Matthew Driggers, shot 68, (-2) and was tied for fourth place.
